Yes — Steps 1–4 must be completed with a DOT-approved Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) before we can schedule your Return-to-Duty test. Log into the FMCSA Clearinghouse and check that Steps 1–4 are showing as complete. If you haven't started yet, call us and we can point you toward a trusted SAP counselor.
Most drivers are fully cleared within 5–7 business days of signing up, as long as Steps 1–4 are already complete. Once we receive your SAP paperwork and schedule your test, results come back in 3–5 business days. We move fast — your livelihood depends on it.
